When I think of Chucks, I think of music. Specifically, rock. From The Ramones to Kurt Cobain, Chucks became a symbol of individuality in the subcultures of rock. Rock, punk, heavy metal, and emo are loud. And so is the way you express yourself. As an emo kid, I couldn’t imagine wearing anything other than Chucks or combat boots. “Living loud” wasn’t just about the music, it was about being unapologetically myself. That’s the message Converse ingrained in me growing up, and it’s something I wanted to showcase in this spec. LIVE LOUD.
