Cinematographer Johnny Derango takes you through the behind-the-scenes of the movie Flight Risk (2025) starring Michelle Dockery, Mark Wahlberg, and Topher Grace. He takes us through how the movie was lit, how they utilized state-of-the-art virtual production for the entire movie, how the actors interfaced with the airplane motion rig, and more. In the end, Johnny talks about how it comes back to lighting fundamentals and tight collaboration between crew members.
